2017 HOUSING AUTHORITY RESIDENT SCHOLARSHIP (HARS) APPLICATION

 


Eligibility: 


In order to be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1.  Be a participant of the Public Housing or Section 8 programs managed by the Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles (HACoLA) and in Good Standing.

2. Qualified youth students include: High school seniors that will attend an accredited college or vocational program in Fall, 2017.

3.  Qualified adult students include: Students with an educational gap that will attend an accredited college or vocational program in Fall, 2017 or students currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited college or vocational program with plans to continue in Fall, 2017.

Section 7: Recommendations


Two recommendation forms from high school or college instructors, or employers in support of your application. Your recommenders have two options to send the form to us.

1. Mail signed and sealed form directly to Zolzaya Myagmar at 700 W. Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801. Must be received/postmarked by April 28, 2017.

2. Scan the signed form, save it as a PDF file and e-mail to Zolzaya.Myagmar@lacdf.org. Must be received by April 28, 2017.
